‘GREENERY’ GREEDY GUTS!!
Macmillan Coffee Morning: the perfect excuse for an office BAKE OFF!
Here at Perspex® brand HQ, we love any excuse to eat cake, so this year all departments have joined forces to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, and host our very own Macmillan Coffee Morning!
Danielle Elliot did a fantastic job of organising the Bake Sale, she commented “We have raised a huge sum and it is still growing which will support Macmillan this year. Many thanks to everyone for your support, donations and to all the bakers who took part making it a successful event”.
Many bakers and tasters took part in this years event. The theme for baked goods was inspired by the Pantone® colour of the year: ‘Greenery’. Sales & Commercial Manager, Jerome Faissat was this years ‘guest judge’ who awarded the ‘Show Stopper’ prize to Gemma Blake (Marketing) with her cute creature cupcakes creation.
‘Star Baker’ prize, voted for by the tasters was awarded to Carla Gardiner (Internal Sales) & Jenna-leigh Harrison (Marketing), who came in joint top; runner up was Danielle Elliot (Commercial).
Well done Ladies!
We would like to thank everyone once again for their baking and tasting contributions – here are the other baked goods that equally deserve some recognition:
See you all next year!!
Macmillan provides medical, emotional, practical and financial support, as well as campaigning for better cancer care. And because cancer affects more than just those facing it, they’re there for friends and family who are affected too.
